Mühlheim

This hotel was definitely one of the worst low price hotels I have been to in Germany. Since there was a fair in Düsseldorf I had to stay in this hotel. I will have to look up the full name of the hotel though. The only good thing in this hotel was the breakfast. They don't have any internet in the rooms, just in the lobby, the TV was sooooo small that you could barely see anything on the screen and the remote didn't work. Oh and the worst was the bed sheets lol they were so uncomfortable.

oh a disgusting detail regarding the bathroom ... one of the lotions was already used *urgh*

BB Hotel Bed & Breakfast

Here comes my report from the hotel I stay weekly at when I am in Oberhausen. It's nice and clean, not too expensive, has a flatscreen with sky (pay tv) for free, free w-lan, breakfast is included. It's very close to the Centro a huge shopping mall and a lot of activities (theatre, cinema, Sealife, restaurants etc etc.)

+++ price, free internet and pay tv, centrally located

- - - didn't find any disadvantage yet, but it depends on what you expect from a hotel, here you get a good basis package :)

Mercure Hotel Oberhausen

I spent one night at Oberhausen's Mercure Hotel last night, since me usual hotel wasn't available for a huge amount of people as we were. So what to tell about the Mercure Hotel? It has a good standard, but offers the same feature as the hotel I'm usually staying at, but it was twice as expensive. The breakfast was very good I have to admit and you could order lunch packages, which was also a huge plus in stead of eating at McDonalds lol.

All in all it was a comfortable stay, nice surrounding but it's a little outside the real center so a car is needed if you stay here.
